Maxi Rodríguez scored two first-half goals as Argentina defeated Canada 5-0 in Buenos Aires yesterday in their final warm-up match ahead of the World Cup.
Lionel Messi was left on the bench as Diego Maradona, the Argentina manager, played Javier Pastore up front with Carlos Tevez and Gonzalo Higuain.
